Learning from the Farm
Coral Farms began as an outdoor Montessori program where children learned through animals, nature, movement, and hands-on exploration. While we are not currently offering programs on the farm, the heart of that work continues.
We believe children learn by doing; caring for living things, asking questions, observing closely, experimenting, creating, and having the freedom to follow their curiosity.
The experiences at Coral Farms inspired a collection of Montessori-based explorations of the natural world. Chickens, soil, seeds, plants, pollinators, water, animals, food, community, and the changing seasons all offer opportunities for children to discover how the world works and their place within it.

We are slowly turning these experiences into printable resources for families and educators. Our first, the Chicken Unit, invites children ages 5–9 to explore chickens through science, games, building, cooking, art, and hands-on activities.
